I LOVE YOUR WORK, DO YOU ACCEPT COMMISSION PROJECTS?

I don’t accept commissions because my process is very intuitive.

The outcome of the work is never apparent from the start, which makes it difficult to work to expectations.  I would hate to disappoint you if you weren’t happy with the result.  I would much rather the right work find the right home.

You should definitely sign up to my mailing list and follow me via my social channels – you never know when your perfect work will present itself!

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY ARTWORK?

From the moment a painting is made, it begins to age.  As the painting continues to age, both the paint film and priming lose flexibility and become brittle. Expansion and contraction of the fabric support, due to absorption and release of moisture from the air, adds further strain which can lead to crack formation.

All canvas artwork has been varnished with several coats of professional quality UV protection.  Still it is best to avoid direct sunlight when displaying.

Oil pastel artwork must be framed behind glass to protect them.

I do not accept any returns based on artwork aging.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BEING CONTACTED BY GALLERIES?

Certainly! Feel free to get in touch with me here.

DO I OWN ANY RIGHTS AFTER PURCHASING A PIECE OF YOUR WORK?

I retain the rights to ALL of my images, be it commissions, sold work, images on social media, the internet, and anywhere else my art can be viewed. You absolutely can display your new artwork in your home, or it can surely be gifted. The collector/buyer may NOT reproduce the artwork in any way unless otherwise discussed, agreed upon and accompanied by written permission as a full/partial rights buy out between myself and the individual(s).

IS YOUR WORK AVAILABLE FOR LICENSING?

I would love to discuss future opportunities pertaining to possible collaborations with the right person/persons. Please visit my “contact” page to get in touch. Looking forward to chatting with you soon.

DO YOU SELL YOUR WORK MATTED/FRAMED?

No, however, I’m quite happy to assist a collector with mat/frame recommendations.  Not doing so helps keep the cost of shipping down, as well as leaving some creative freedom to the collector.

OWNERSHIP OF THE ARTWORK: WHO ACUTALLY OWNS THE ARTWORK?

I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I create unless the collector has also purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork. To discuss purchasing the rights, contact me. The collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission. If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media I only ask for credit. When you purchase an original painting you, the collector, have the right to display the artwork in your home or business but the artwork may not be resold or reproduced without my written permission.
